Disclosure Statement

Welcome to my disclosure statement.  Please allow me to disclose that sometimes I, Tracy Thomason, make money via my 15 Minute Mondays website. A little, anyway. I'd like to make more, of course.

I'm telling you this for two reasons.

#1 - The Federal Trade Commission says I have to tell you. They think that without this statement, you probably won't figure out that if I review a product, I might have gotten a free copy or some other kind of compensation (see What Is An Affiliate Program below.)

Disclosure statement that I do try to make money on this website

This is not my wallet. I know because I never carry that much cash.

#2 - This is a good place for me to let you know that if you like what you see here, you can support this website by clicking on a link in one of my reviews and purchasing a product that you might need (again, see What Is An Affiliate Program below.) You can also buy one of the products that I created. That would be awesome. But if my products don't meet your needs, clicking on the affiliate links is another way to support me.

When I write about something on this website (or shoot a video or record a podcast,) I am giving my honest opinion and assessment of the product or service regardless of whether I discovered it on my own, it was referred to me, or it was submitted to me for review.

Any compensation I receive from advertisements or affiliate programs will never influence the content of this website. If it did, my mother might smack me upside the head. Okay, she wouldn't do that. She'd just be very disappointed in me and that would be worse. Therefore, I will always give my personal opinion -- whether or not it shows a product or company in a favorable light.

What Is An Affiliate Program?

An affiliate program is a commission-based form of advertising. If you click on any of the affiliate links on my website (they will be noted) and then you purchase a good or service from that company, I will receive a small commission. Most of the time, this isn't enough to buy a Coca-Cola from a vending machine. But hey, every little bit helps, right?

I do not join an affiliate program lightly. My personal guarantee to you, dear reader, is that I will never provide an affiliate link to a product or service that I do not personally use. I may review products that I don't use (or have used but no longer do,) but I will only provide affiliate links to those products and services that I believe in and trust enough to use for my own personal and business needs.
